Anthony Ramos is a Grammy®-winning artist, Golden Globe®  and Emmy® nominated actor.

Ramos will lead the next installment of THE TRANSFORMERS franchise, “Rise of The Beasts”  from Paramount out this June, he also stars in Amblin’s upcoming feature film, DISTANT, directed by Will Speck and Josh Gordon and recently wrapped production on Marvel’s IRON HEART for Disney +, along with Sony’s DUMB MONEY directed by Craig Gillespie.

Ramos is known for inaugurating the dual roles of “John Laurens” and “Philip Hamilton” in the critically acclaimed, TONY Award-winning  Broadway musical and feature film, HAMILTON in which he was Emmy nominated.  He went on to star as the lead in Jon M. Chu’s IN THE HEIGHTS which earned him a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Musical or Comedy Film.

Anthony has been on the cover of THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER, as well as TIME Magazine’s “Next Generation of Leaders” cover.

On television, Madrigal is best known as the Senior Latino Correspondent on THE DAILY SHOW WITH JON STEWART and is currently a series regular on NBC’s hit Friday night comedy LOPEZ VS. LOPEZ. Madrigal’s many film credits include THE WAY BACK with Ben Affleck for Warner Bros and NIGHT SCHOOL alongside Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish. As a writer, Madrigal has written on multiple television shows, including I’M DYING UP HERE, and BROKE with Jaime Camil. He’s currently developing multiple projects for TV within his current deal at CBS Studios. In 2022, Al teamed up with AWA and former Marvel Editor in Chief Axel Alonso to release PRIMOS. Each issue is available in both English & Spanish. As an entrepreneur, Madrigal and fellow comedian, Bill Burr, founded All Things Comedy (ATC) which has become the #1 comedy podcast network in the world featuring shows hosted by some of the best comedians in the business.

Danay Garcia is an actress, writer, producer and podcast host. She has portrayed a rich array of characters in TV and film. She is perhaps best remembered for portraying Sofia Lugo in the series Prison Break, and Luciana in AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead. She also helps people plant seeds for growth and happiness through The Danay Garcia Podcast.

Carlos’s debut film, Blindspotting, premiered opening night at Sundance 2018 and was subsequently released by Lionsgate Entertainment. Carlos was nominated by the DGA for Outstanding Directorial Achievement of a First-Time Feature Film. His second film, Summertime, premiered opening night of Sundance 2020 and was released theatrically the following year. Carlos’ third film, Raya And The Last Dragon was released by Disney in March of 2021 and was nominated for an Academy Award® for Best Animated Feature. On the TV side, Carlos directed an episode of FX and Marvel’s Legion. He began his career directing music videos for musicians like Billie Eilish, Father John Misty, Thundercat and Flying Lotus, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, and Clipping. In 2012, he won a Latin Grammy for an animated music video he directed for Mexican artists Jesse & Joy.  He is currently developing an animated feature documentary set to release in 2023 as well as the live-action adaptation of Disney’s Robin Hood.

Nancy C. Mejía

Writer/Director

Nancy C. Mejía is a first-generation Salvadoran-American writer/director born and raised in Los Angeles. She is an AFI Directing Workshop for Women Fellow and proud recipient of the inaugural Outfest Fusion Spotlight Award. Her most recent Directorial/Producing work can be seen on the upcoming season of THE CHI on Showtime. She has also been a Writer/Co-Producer on Showtime’s THE L WORD GENERATION Q. She is a proud member of the Animation Guild, Director’s Guild, and Writer’s Guild. She endeavors to explore and share authentic portrayals of intersectionality and overlooked communities.
